21 October 2011 - After well over two decades of representing Datakey Electronics in German-speaking countries, Eric Robinson has retired from DigiMem and is now enjoying the Fall colors of the American eastern seaboard, although he will remain a Director of Digimem for the forseeable future. We wish him an actively enjoyable retirement!
2 May 2011 - The DFX and UFX robust alternatives to USB sticks and SD cards have been grouped under the new product title of RUGGEDrive™. Not just the tokens themselves are robust of course but also the sockets they plug into. Don't make the common mistake of expecting consumer-based products to perform adequately in an industrial world!
25 April 2011 - DigiMem will be exhibiting at the forthcoming VfS-Kongress in Leipzig (Verband für Sicherheitstechnik e.V.) among other well-known companies from the security industry. Come to the Ramada Hotel on 17th or 18th May to find out more. www.vfs-hh.de
12 January 2011 - DFX and UFX datasheets now available. The robust alternatives to USB sticks and SD cards have now been introduced. Using well-known protocols, they represent a real alternative to fragile consumer memory devices that wouldn't survive long under tough conditions. Sockets to IP 65 or IP67 ensure reliable data transfer in situations where no other data carrier would dare go!
14 December 2010 - Atek Products LLC has acquired Datakey Electronics Inc. as a complement to ATEK’s existing portfolio of solutions for sensing, security, and safety systems. Datakey Electronics will operate as a division of ATEK
Products. The company’s manufacturing facility will remain in Savage, (MN, USA) and all employees have
been retained. Sales and support in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and some neighbouring countries continue without change from DigiMem Deutschland based in Wiesbaden.
1 December 2010 - Initial response to the new DFX and UFX products is very positive. They clearly have a big future as robust replacements for conventional consumer memory devices like SD cards or USB sticks.
27 October 2010 - two important NEW PRODUCTS will be launched at electronica 2010. The new Cap format promises to solve space and weight problems, in particular for hand-held devices. Secondly, the 'high-capacity' series will enable robust transport of up to 32GBytes of data.
22 October 2010 - New GammaSafe System launched - shows gamma sterilisation status.
12 August 2010 - Encryption application uses Datakey tokens (but we can't tell you anything else about it!)
7 June 2010 - Latest sugar beet harvesting application uses Bluetooth and the same keys that have been available for 20 years!
