ABOUT DIGIMEM

Although DigiMem Deutschland Ltd & Co KG was only founded in 2007, the experience of the Company goes back over 20 years through its predecessor, Electronic Marking Systems (Emser). Founded by Eric Robinson, Emser has provided dozens of customers throughout Europe with helpful advice, product and development support and reliable, punctual deliveries of Datakey portable memory products. This long experience can benefit you in quickly establishing the best Datakey product to integrate into your systems. Development and integration time of this sub-system is thereby kept to a minimum. And that means lower costs in developing your application!

Eric, although retained as an invaluable consultant, has now gone into well-earned retirement. David Jayne, who has worked in prototype development companies, power supply, satellite transmission technology and telecommunications manufacturing and, most recently, antenna manufacturers, has been on board since 2007 and now runs the company from Wiesbaden.

Chronology

• 1976 - Datakey Electronics (US) develops and produces non-volatile electronic data carriers in the form of Keys, Tokens, cards and customized packages.
• 1987 - Electrronic Marking Systems (EMSER) founded by Eric Robinson to distribute Datakey products to the German-speaking market
• 2006 - all Datakey products avvailable in fully ROHS conform versions
• 2007 - DigiMem founded to continue the business of Emser in the form of a limited company.
